Soul Centers are faith-based communities formally recognized under the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA) in the United States of America. These centers operate under the leadership of credentialed officiants who are listed in the Christian Leaders Minister Directory and are entrusted with initiating, guiding, and overseeing ministry activities.
Soul Centers are not limited to a single model; rather, they are shaped by the unique gifts, training, and calling of each credentialed minister. This flexibility allows each center to effectively serve its community while remaining rooted in biblical principles and mission.
The Christian Discipleship Mentor Center (CDMC), based in Sri Lanka, is one such expression of a Soul Center. CDMC is dedicated to nurturing and developing Christian leaders through discipleship. Its mission includes proclaiming the Gospel, equipping believers, and mentoring disciples in alignment with the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through its focused approach, CDMC seeks to empower individuals to grow spiritually, lead faithfully, and actively participate in advancing God’s Kingdom.
CDMC is a registered Soul Centre of the Christian Leaders Alliance, USA, and is located in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. The CDMC has already commenced a Training of Trainers (TOT) program to meet the need for trainers/Mentors for future discipleship training programs planned by the center.
The prospective Mentors will undergo online training at the Christian Leaders Institute, USA. Upon successfully completing their education, the Mentors will, in turn, provide guidance to individuals undergoing Christian discipleship training in Sri Lanka.

To empower and commission mentored students who have successfully completed Christian discipleship courses to become dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ.
Mentoring is an integral part of Christian discipleship training. At CDMC we provide guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals as they grow in their faith and seek to live out the teachings of Christ. We equip our mentees with practical skills and knowledge to live out their faith in their everyday lives, in their relationships, work, and community involvement. Join us to learn how we can help you discover the unique gifts and talents God has bestowed upon you.
Supporting individuals in their Christian discipleship journey is another crucial aspect CDMC focuses on. We do this through our small group discussions known as discipleship groups or cell groups. Small group communities foster a sense of belonging and encourage mutual accountability and encouragement among members. We also provide pastoral care and intercessory support.
Enabling is another vital aspect of Christian discipleship training at CDMC. Serving is a transformative journey that empowers individuals to embrace their God-given potential. At CDMC we provide individuals with the resources and skills. This enables them to actively engage in fulfilling their calling as followers of Christ and enables them to live out their faith authentically and make a positive impact in their communities.
Directing plays another crucial role in Christian discipleship training. This involves providing guidance, leadership, and direction to disciples to navigate their journey of faith and service. CDMC is committed to helping individuals discover God's plan for their lives. This involves helping them make intentional choices aligned with Biblical principles and guiding them towards a deeper relationship with Christ.

I am Devseth Fernando of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Married to Nishamani in 1991, we have two children and one granddaughter. I was brought up in a faith-based family environment. However, at 26, I had a near-death experience, and I survived by God's grace. That made me focus on the Ministry of God. I graduated as a Computer Systems Engineer and worked in various places, and at my retirement age of 60, I held the position of CEO of a public corporation. While working, I was involved in Ministry as an Accredited Local Preacher of the Methodist Church and as a Public Christian Life Coach. In 2009, God gave me a vision to start the Shalom prayer family, and later evolved into the Prime Hope Organization (PHO).
As a para-church organization, the PHO conducts PH Ministries in Sri Lanka. The Word of God that drives us, "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction" 2 Timothy 4:2. Having realized the importance of training disciples for preaching the gospel, we were able to start Christian Discipleship Mentor Center in Sri Lanka which is the first in this kind in Asia, as registered soul center of Christian Leaders Alliance, USA.
